Today I decided to make a Prop list. I made it around the same time I was finish off my shot list, so that will be the next blog post I upload. Normally I wouldn’t make a prop list because my other videos didn’t really feature any specific props, however his video does.
I decided to make it somewhat detailed than I would’ve done in my previous projects. In the past I would’ve just listed the object and assigned it to whatever character was holding/using the prop, but this time I added on when the prop will be used and how it will be used in each scene I noted.
I chose to do it this way because it plays as a reminder of what I plan to do with those props. It also gives insight to whoever reads the document on why the prop is there and why its significant.
I feel as though this is a decent prop list, it tells you what prop it is, who is using it, when they’re using it and why they’re using it specifically. I’m not sure what else I could’ve added to the list that would have been important to note, so I believe I have the necessary details on the list.
